26. Officer to hear the case :

(1) The guardian shall have the right to process and dispose of the case punishable in accordance with the Act and this regulation.
(2) Without prejudice to the generality of sub-rule (1), the assistant custodian shall have the right to initiate and dispose of the following cases if there is an assistant custodian:-

(a) Entering the park without obtaining permission contrary to rule 4,
(b) forest produce worth up to ten thousand rupees has been removed, cut or plucked in an irregular manner,
(c) domestic animals or birds grazed or fed within the park,
(d) staying overnight, camping or lighting a fire in any other than designated camp or place,
(e) fishing without permission contrary to rule 11,
(f) puts up or puts up any signs, notices, advertisements or posters in contravention of rule 13,
(g) playing any instrument contrary to rule 14,
(h) Littering or littering contrary to rule 15,
(i) driving a vehicle in contravention of rules 17 and 18,
(j) has entered, walked or driven a vehicle in the park contrary to rule 19,
(k) Traveling on foot, walking domestic animals or driving a vehicle in violation of Rule 20, other than the prescribed route.
